Yoga entered Mari’s life almost 10 years ago with Ashtanga, when she felt magnetically captivated by the incredible physicality, and lightness maintained by the practitioner while performing ‘complicated’ postures.
It landed as an extraordinarily organized way to challenge her body, and in time transformed into a whole new way of feeling and experiencing herself and the world.
The exploration of ‘unfamiliar territories’ has always been a whisper in Mari’s ears, persuading her Soul to step out of her comfort zone in multiple directions and embrace new experiences. But not always was she able to answer or just listen to it… energetically clogged by all kinds of limiting beliefs.
Through her practice she perceived the gradual forming of a beacon within herself, revealing unconscious beliefs and wounded emotions that prevented her Essence from being fully and freely expressed. A brave and steady light exposed these dark rooms and dissolved layers and layers of illusion, fear and false identities.
In 2018 one of the whispers raised the volume so loud that she couldn’t deny it, bringing her to attend a life-changing teacher training in Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga in the sacred land of India. There, she was able to dive into the study of its history and philosophy revealing an holistic perspective far beyond physical asanas.
Since then Yoga bloomed into an ‘energetic gateway’ to a very sophisticated quality of understanding, constantly inviting her Soul into the craziest and most beautiful dance of merging more and more with her Essence: clearing and releasing, forgiving and loving, observing and accepting, embracing and including, and redirecting.
Everyday finding a better balance between doing and being, masculine and feminine, yin and yang.
The practice of Yoga illuminates ones own divine nature, peeling off one veil at a time.
On a daily mission to grow into a better human being, Mari is passionately dedicated to creating and holding safe spaces for people to courageously welcome the remembrance of who WE ARE, in ITS full splendor, piece by piece… carving our way to Essence.
