Inwardbound 7-Day Facilitation Immersive Skills Training

Facilitation Training at Anamaya Resort

From Ancient Lineage to Modern Facilitation:

A deep dive into the ethical, therapeutic, and practical aspects of holding space for altered states of consciousness.

For thousands of years, cultures across the world have worked with expanded states of consciousness as tools for healing, insight, and transformation.

In Ireland, ancient communities held deep relationships with the natural world, including plant and fungal allies, within ritual frameworks designed to support profound inner work. Much of this wisdom was lost over time.

Inwardbound Institute draws inspiration from this lineage while grounding their approach in modern therapeutic ethics, structured safety protocols, and the foundational research of Dr. Stanislav Grof.

This training is not about recreation. It is about reclaiming ancient wisdom responsibly, and equipping professionals to hold space with integrity.

“This training was so much more than I expected. I learned everything I came here to learn but didn’t expect the deep connections that were a wonderful byproduct of the way the team put together the training. I am so very grateful.” – Karyn

“My journey with Inwardbound was an insightful and rewarding experience. Being able to reflect and share in a positive and open environment, in the hands of very knowledgeable and experienced facilitators, helped me to gain clarity to build self-awareness.” – Colm

“It’s hard to put into words how profound this extraordinary experience was. Several weeks afterwards, I am still processing and unravelling the wonder of it. The team, are such a special combination of truly dedicated and extraordinary people, whose ability to hold space cannot be matched. I really appreciated the equal mix of male and female facilitators – something I hadn’t fully grasped the importance of during the experience, but I am so, so grateful for in hindsight. Truly the best money you will ever spend. The depth of the collective experience and group sharing was profound. I have so much gratitude to everyone who participated.” – Banacinn

“Wonderful team, idyllic settings, beautifully held ceremonies. So much more than a retreat experience. If you’re looking to do a retreat or train as a facilitator, I can’t recommend InwardBound enough.” – Richard
